LA PERLA NEGRA TOURS

Here is the birds eye view of our final destination.The paradise island of ISLA TORTUGA. Of course we will visit the usual tourist part of the island but there are many other beaches to explore as well as many reefs to snorkel.But like I always say, half the fun of an expedition is getting there.

On our way to Tortuga we may stop by the dreaded penal colony of Isla san Lucas . Closed in 1991 it was named a national park in 2020.I have been going there since 1994.Its quite eerie but also interesting, like a horror movie you want to look away from ,but can't! But off we go to paradise.

Next on our adventure in paradise as we meander though the countless islands on our way to Tortuga ,we will for sure stop by at Monkey island.These are monkeys stranded on an island with little resources at certain times of the year,They are always down for a fruit hand out.I found them accidentally years ago on a dive.You can imagine how surprised I was to surface to a bunch of monkeys.

As we wander in our boat we are sure to encounter many beautiful scenes ,birdlife, animal life, marine life, rain bows water falls off cliffs??? every single tour I've done has been different.We like to go the extra mile to explore and find that next great point of interest, you never know what it might be? A turtle in a net, a sea bird needing assistance or one of our remote beaches that we will do a quick clean up on the way home.WE NEVER GO HOME EMPTY HANDED! We always give back!

So yes by this time we have made it to our destination and its time to go to shore and explore and or get yo snorkel on.I probably will hang on the boat and bbq the fish we caught on the way,shrimp on the barbie,fresh veggies and yummy snacks to enjoy our boat time with. Like I said every trip is different.We may go out fishing? go over to the CURU RESERVE? or just hang on the beach? since we are not a tourist cattle drive we can do any thing we want.100%
